First grade - Buses
In first grade we talked about what we could do to improve a boring yellow bus.... they had great ideas! Check this one out!
Second Grade - Shapes
This week in art second grade was working with geometric shapes. They chose a shape and then echoed that shape with three other colors. They colored them in neatly and repeated the process to fill up the space. They learned about overlapping while doing the process. What great designs, love them!

Second Grade - Lines
Second grade created art work using only lines this week. We explored all the various types of lines. We used horizontal, vertical, diagonal, wavy, zig zag, spiral, squigly, dotted and every other kind of line you can think of. They turned out great!!!
Kindergarten
In kindergarten this week we made schoolbuses. We used shapes to create our bus. We learned about circles, squares and rectangles. We even talked about colors. What a great job for our very first art project!
